Just a few weekends ago, we were taking a ride with a museum train in Buckow, Brandenburg, a so-called "Kleinbahn" = small train.
My son really likes trains a lot, especially steam trains and other old trains

WOW... gorgeous! The high contrast b&w really brings out the essence. Nice work.

Some from my new-to-me Nikomat FTN, using a Vivitar 70~150mm close-focusing zoom. I like this camera and lens. Next time, I will remember to extend the pull-out lens hood.

Youngest daughter, caught getting prettier last weekend with a Minolta XE-7 and Rokkor 85/f2 on drugstore Kodak GC400. I used available light in the dressing room, and had to tweak in PSE to get rid of the green cast (it is soft, she would not be still!).

I would love to have you shot this with a prime (your 35MM F2 say and leg zoom) having said that, if you give this a little trim etc (pun intended) it will make a nice print.
Well done.

Well done.
This shot was the result of a number of trips past the shop (which is quite a distance in another part of the city from where we live) waiting for everything to be just right.
Often the shop would be closed, or there would be cars parked directly in front, blocking the view, or the scene inside the shop was not particularly interesting.
On this day, everything came together, and I got the shot from my car across the street using my zoom to compose.
I didn't have the 35 with me and besides, as I learned from another photographer who tried to shoot this same barber in the shop, the man wasn't in the least co-operative, so I grabbed it while I could, from where I could.

Took this with my newly acquired D5100 and 35mm f1.8:

Made a short video of my Palm Springs trip:
http://youtu.be/75ZljNvKy_Q
I find myself using it 90% of the time for video and my RF's for still photography.
