I really liked the north Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire countryside, the picturesque villages, Norman churches, and the old halls, so no problem Dayrell. I can take a lot of of shots like that.
A few days ago I found a baby pink mouse in a customers car and took him home to try and nurse him back to health and give him a home. He had been doing well with eating and going potty for 2 days and then he wasnt going potty any more. Probably my fault for not doing it right but who knows. He passed away early the third morning. He fell asleep while being held then stopped breathing. I bawled my eyes out 🙁
The wifey and I gave him a nice burial along the river. After placing the last of the dirt, the frogs in the river started singing out for him. It was beautiful

Mamiya RZ67 with Fuji FP-100c (my scanner is really bad about scanning images. Sorry for the banding)
These were taken with a Minolta 5000 and 70-210 f4 aka the Beercan. I wish I could find a 28-80 or 28-105 as good as the 70-210! Anyone know of a good 28-80 zoom? If so let me know.
I still hold on to my old D3 (it's amazing at how little you can get these now on the internet for what tough as nails indestructible cameras they are).
Some of these shots I had to play dirty tricks to get them (no photoshopping here, that's how it's shot), as my 300mm is a bit too short. I modified my Nikon TCs so I can stack a 1.7x AND a 2.0x TC to get to a whopping 1020mm equivalent (you don't want to crop these tiny 12MP D3 files 😀
When stacking TCs it is also straight back to the old days of manual focus only and a very, very dim finder.
Haha Johan ;-)
Actually F1 got A LOT less loud this year with the new V6 Turbo engines. The V8, V10 and V12 engines in the decades before really needed you to use ear protection, whereas this year I didn't use plugs from the grandstand areas for F1.
Interestingly the support race Porsches seem more noisy now ;-)
