Jupiter-8 on a Bessa R2a is my favorite 50/RF combo.
My favorite SLR/50 combination is a Pentax K2 dmd and the SMC 50/f1.4
I don't really have a Fixed Lens favorite.

I've got a few iterations:
RF: my Leica M4 with DR Summicron.
SLR: my black nikon F2AS with 50mm f/1.2 Ai.
For nostalgia: Pentax Spotmatic with Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f/1.4.
That which I lust: Voigtlander Prominent II with 50mm Nokton.
Close second in the RF category: Nikon SP with 5cm f/1.4.

Favorite is difficult to answer, but most used combo is a bit more objective. For me, that's my Leica M5 and Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM.

I like the combo of IIIf and Elmar 50mm f3.5. I read someplace in around 1964-5 that Leica struggled with the switching from the Barnack film loading system to the M model loading system because they were concerned about consistent film flatness. I feel that there is something to this worry. Maybe the M models are great with film flatness but the Barnack bodies are excellent in this regard.
Anyone else ever hear of this concern?
I also like the Pentax Spotmatic and the version 2 50mm f1.4.

OM4: OM Zuiko 50/1.4 (I wouldn't mind trying the 50/1.2)
Barnack: probably the collapsible Summicron 5cm but the J8 is also very good, also the Canon 50/1.8 LTM. If I want sharpness the Industar 61 is hard to beat.
Topcon RE Super: Topcor 58/1.4
Nikon F: early Nikkor 5cm f/2 with nine aperture blades
Pentax K: Pentax-M 50/1.4 but I haven't any others to compare. If I had M42 I'd go for the 8 element 50/1.4
Canon: I prefer the EF40/2.8 pancake STM to the EF50/1.4. Kostya's 50L sounds better.
Fixed: the R35S only comes with a 40/2.8 bit it's a beauty. The Yashinon 45/1.7 on the Electro 35 is a great lens but I and the camera don't share any karma.

The Nikon 50/1.4 AF-D transmits more light to the sensor than the Canon 50/1.2 per DXO's t-stop value rating (as I've mentioned before) and any other 50/1.4 I know of. 1.4 = 1.4. It's "the poor man's" 1.2. The D600 is a sick value if you're willing to roll the dice on the oil spot issue. I have two. No issues. The N75 is an amazing value. Vastly underraded because it's a "plastic consumer camera" as positioned by Nikon. Meanwhile, it's a sophisticated little (and I do mean little -- and light) beast. Don't care what anyone says, it's a fantastic camera.
