He had a shutter tester that he ran my IIIf through many times, and a little googling shows that it is a Camlogix SH-T2 shutter speed tester. But Camlogix appears to be offline now, so I can't say what sort of shutter tester it is.
The IIIf has some variance in its shutter, and being 60 years old and entirely mechanical, it's not going to be spot on always. When he tested the camera, he would test, turn some screws, retest, get it as close as possible, then run through other shutter speeds, and discover that it had gone inaccurate on a different shutter speed, so it would be back to testing there, then running through everything again, to get it as accurate as possible across all shutter speeds, which again, with the old mechanics, isn't dead accurate, and couldn't be expected to be.
This is by way of saying that I'm guessing that the tester is probably accurate to a much higher tolerance than an old Leica mechanical shutter can ever be.
That's good enough for me.

Seeing as he has had no problem getting business without a website I don't think anyone should complain about this site.
I wasn't complaining about his site. I just want to know without a fishing expedition if he can do a shutter. I realize that is narrow but it is the service I want. He, I guess was in China for a few months, therefore not getting emails.

I sent out a question about my M3 to him and 4 other repair folks yesterday. He responded quickly and clearly. No one else responded. I have sent my M3 to him for a CLA.
