If anyone needed convincing that Leica has bottomed out as a genuine and relevant camera manufacturer and become. well, words alone cannot properly describe what this "thing" is supposed to be. Tasteless over indulgence for the very rich and very clueless? It really is in shockingly bad taste. Who is running things over there now? Barnack is probably spinning in his grave. Now pimps have a nice camera to covet though. It needs a feather mounted on top at a jaunty angle, like the one Steve Martin had in his hat in The Jerk.

Whenever they bring out a camera like this, it immediately elicits a comment like this.

Seriously, WHO CARES? If it keeps them in business, great. What harm to these "specials" do? They've been doing it since 1929; maybe in 2019 they'll do a 90th anniversary Luxus M10.
