Hey guys I have bought M8 from 5D
It's a great camera and I have shot so far about 6000 shots with it since I bought it traveling through italy.

Unfortunately I have discovered that my M8 makes zagged artifacts from the blown highlight to darker edges.
I have searched the forums but I have not found any info so please help me.

I have attached the photos here to illustrate the problem.
I have the newest 1.201 firmware.

That is not the camera. That is low resolution in postprocessing or Jpeg artefacts by using the in-camera jpeg engine. Shoot DNG and convert to 16-bit TIFF for postprocessing, only stepping down to 8 bits after levels and curves. I guarantee you - no jaggies, no posterisation (which is quite apparent on your images) any more.

Thanks for the advise. But they were shot in RAW and conveted into jpg in Lightroom.
Actually I took my Camera to Masion du Leica in Paris (that's where I am right now) and confirmed that the artifact is not normal compared to their demo camera. They are going to send it to solm for me. Hopefully it isn't too difficult to fix.

I give Kudos to Masion du Leica for trying their best to fix the problemwithout too much incovenience. I will report what they end up doing with my camera here,.

Good luck Let's hope Leica will not take too long to fix your camera. I did assume it was in postprocessing as the M8 gives normally very smooth transitions of edges. It must be an electronic fault, as the artifacts are typical of low resolution. It must be very rare , as this is the first time it is reported. Maison du Leica is indeed an excellent shop
