zarya mishap

Today after finishing a roll I pressed the film rewind release collar on my Zarya (fed2 less rangefinder) and instantly realized I still had the shutter cocked.Since then the shutter release doesnt seem quite right, occationally the shutter seems to hang up.It hasn't failed to release yet totally, just kind of a delayed action.Any ideas guys?

Is the shutter not supposed to be cocked before pressing/turning the film release collar? Is that a rule with Feds like cocking the shutter before changing shutter speeds?

Frank, I seem to recall reading to trip the shutter before pushing the release. However,I really cant see what difference it would make. Then again,my FSU camera track record isnt so good anyway......

I don't think releasing the shutter with the rewind collar should cause any problem. I have a Zorki 6 that periodically will mess up a couple of frames because the shuitter doesn't cock properly--nothing a thorough CLA wouldn't fix, I suspect
