Who uses it?
What's your experience with it been?
Do you use IR filters?
Is your Zeiss 21mm coded?
If so, who coded it?
Did you change the bayonet on it first?
If you use IR filters and it's NOT coded, is there a lot of cyan shift?
Anyone want to share some photos with this lens?
Inquiring minds want to know.... hehehe

My M5s need red dots!
Why change of bayonet?
Otherwise, I'm interested in the replies you get.

Get another mount from zeiss as the one provided is for the 50 send your 28 mount to John Milch let him code cheap and fast. Send it and your lens to don goldberg to install Zeiss lens mounts are a bitch to take off use and expert only to take off . Get a leica 46 filter and happy shooting . Oh use a little piece of white sticky paper to cover the screw hole so the lens is not read as a 28 and nail polish the 2 black slots Milch will just drill the notches.

Yes the fact it brings up the wrong framelines is irritating.
How do you get a mount from Zeiss? Do they charge for it? Or do you they send it "for free"?

Because apparently, if I remember correctly, if you try to code it without changing the bayonet, the M8 will recognize it as a 35mm lens (????).Why change of bayonet?
That's not to say you can't use it without coding or changing the bayonet. You can. It just won't bring the right frame lines, you might need an external viewfinder, and it won't correct for cyan shift if you use an IR cut filter.
But because I want to know how this plays out in the real world...
I'd love the owners of this lens to actually answer my questions

They ill ask for a bank transfer after you get the mount. I emaild germany turns out they will charge a credit card visa or mastercard send number to germany. Wire trransfer at my bank was 35 bucks mastercard charged about 1.50 for the international route.

Since it is a 21 the frame lines are irrelevant why worry about frame lines? now the 25 would be a different issue as the 24 frame lines of the m8 would be nice to have.
