zeiss contarex back replace latches?

does anyone know if the latches in the standard zeiss contarex back are removable - can be replaced ?
they appear to be pressed together & I want to replace a broken one

The latches on my Contax IIIa that I just looked at also appear to be pressed together. I do not have a Contarex, but would guess they are similar.
