Just a reminder that April is Zeiss Contax Month! I should be loading my Contax up and shooting some shots this month. I have not been using it for a while, but all is good again, and I am ready to start shooting.
I hope to get out soon to shoot my Contax. In the meantime, here’s one from last year, made w/ a Contax IIa, Zeiss Opton 5cm f1.5, and Cinestill Double X developed in D96 Monobath. It was taken out on Point Pinole, a small peninsula into San Francisco Bay.
I bought a Kiev 4 or 4M (or whatever it is they call the one with the meter hump on the top) for the princely sum of $60. My first foray into the Contax-Kiev platform. To my delight (or surprise?) it seems to work perfectly.
