Yea. I was totally sleeping until this post. I haven't heard a shot fired in anger in weeks.

I'm left-eyed as well and the exposure lock button doesn't get in the way at all. The ZI's viewfinder is the best one I've used on any camera. The meter readout is better than on the Bessas, but still not perfect.

you could always use your nose to push it since it will be hovering around there anyway 😀

Yeah I was worried that being left-eyed would cause a problem, but as Sam N said, it's not an issue. One thing I am not sure has been mentioned is that you can extend the lock time once you have activated AE lock with a half press of the shutter, rather than pointing the camera back at the same thing and locking exposure again. As far as I can tell, this resets the 20 second timer to the start again.

Not a shot fired in anger. Really don't want to get all obnoxious and PC, but I figured some of our Vietnamese friends might not be cool with it.

(I mean, I'm half Swiss, so don't be calling me a "cheese-eater." Them's fightin' words....🙂)
