Zeiss Ikon 35 Diopters

Does this camera come with a standard -.5 in the viewfinder like Leica? If I need a +.5 can I assume I need a +1.0? Any know about availability if this is correct?

Manual says it comes with -0.5.

About the availability, search the forum, because a similar question was asked just recently (using viewfinder rubber thinguies from other brands and what not).

I placed an order with Adorama a few weeks ago for two of them and they are on back order. I get an apology letter from Adorama once a week.

That's funny, because I just got the neutral and the +1 Ziess Ikon diopters today too. Mine came from Adorama. I don't know how much of a difference they make until I get my ZI back from DAG.

BTW: The diopter lenses work equallty as well on the two wide angle viewfinders (25/28) and the (21).

I got the +1.0 for my M7 also. Yes, it does make a difference. Tamarkin wanted $124.00. I got a 100% new one on the Bay for $48.00.
