I took some new photos yesterday with the Tessar.

A stranger saw my M9 and Tessar and he said "is this a Leica?"
We chatted about cameras and lenses.
This was (for many years) The T J Wentworth Museum. Ooops. He turned out to be a KKK person, so it is now The Pensacola Museum of History.
The pink building on the right houses the Quayside Are Gallery where I was a member for over twenty years. It used to house the fire engines carts (for horses) many years ago.
This dude sang quite well (only the line "I was born by the river") and then he asked for money.
My favorite coffee shop in Pensacola is The Bodacious Brew.

When this lens is properly extended, the resulting images can look very nice. The colors are excellent without any PS.
It is impressive how a lens from 1937 matches up with a camera like the M9.

Well-known
Raid, try and shoot it in B&W. The color out of these 'legacy' lenses is such that it can ultimately distract from the subtleties of shade gradation you'd see in monochrome grey tones tones these lenses were designed for.
