Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 522/24 (35mm folder)

If it now looks clean, it is clean, dry it and oil it and put it back together. Check it with the speed setting ring back on and maybe even with whatever retains that. Sometimes the speed setting ring can jump just a little when firing and mess things up. After that I'd be examining it as it runs to look for slightly misaligned or bent parts that are catching on each other, like this I found once:

Well.. I’ve been awhile getting back to this, but it hasn’t improved with age. One thing I did discover sometime in the wee hours of an insomniac night is that you can remove the escapement from the frontside, without taking the back off. Those of you who know this are thinking “well DUH” but I’m new at this and nobody thought to mention that wee fact, eh? Two screws, easy as you please.
And so.. escapement is clean as a whistle, and the shutter is still hanging in a sloooow action... which suggests the back is coming off anyways.

I always wanted more adventure in my life; I never expected to find it such small spaces.
