Sorry for your problems, I would be naked and lonely if my ZI had to be sent back. I've had mine for a few months, works perfectly from the get go. Now if only I worked perfectly.....

Just want to follow up with my ZI repair.
I sent it back to Popflash. It took a while to return. Just got the body back to me about 4-6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago, I started playing with it with the 50/2 Planar. (Yeah, have been busy at work.) And I still notice the "ticking" of the 50 frameline.
I'll have to send it back to Tony again. If it still doesn't get fixed this time, Tony will send it back to Japan for repair. Tony's handling of this has been very professional though. I appreciate it.
I'm very disappointed at Zeiss QC. Got this camera and only ran less than 5 rolls through it and it already have to part with me half the time. Now, I'm having second thought about a second chrome ZI body... Maybe I'm destined to stick with Nikon gear...
Tony said the last time he sent a ZI body to Japan for repair, it took 8 weeks to come back. I'm not looking forward to that...
