I found an interesting converted lens,
a Zeiss Jena 180/2.8 Sonnar converted to Hasselblad V
looks to be 1970's vintage, probably from Pentacon Six
works great
Is anyone offering such conversions in the US?

I have such a lens in Pentacon 6 mount. There are plenty of adapters available (cheap) for these lenses. I used my Zeiss Jena 180/2.8 and other Zeiss Jena lenses on my Canon FD bodies this way. There may exist a cheap adapter for Pentacon 6 to Hasselblad. You can also add a Canon B adapter plus a LTM-M adapter, and then use the lens on a Leica M.

You need an in-lens shutter to work with an Hasselblad V.

I was unaware of this fact.

SFAIK Hasseblad V also refers to the focal plane 200 series

Oh, that's true - didn't think about them. I have but a humble last-year 500C.
I remember looking for a 2000FC/M a long while ago, but I think cost put me off. Found the 500C later on and never went back to the idea.

I'd like to have got one of these converted to Rolleiflex SL66 mount. No shutter needed. Lots of lenses lend themselves to mounting on this camera, but apparently the SL66 mount to film plane distance is too far for this particular lens, so infinity focus would not be possible. I think it would have been a good lens for portraiture, but I am definitely not getting a different body to use it!
