zeiss lens on leica body!

I might ask a really stupid question. Do I need any adapter if i want to use Zeiss lens on leica body? Or what is the series of Zeiss lens that fit with leica bayonet?

The ZM lenses which are current lenses will fit the Leica M's. By the way they are some of the best. I shoot the 35 biogon and 25 biogon and absolutely love them.

I really like the Zeiss ZM lenses especially the 21mm/2.8, 25mm/2.8 Biogons and 50mm/2 Planar. I use them mostly on M7 cameras. They are fully compatible with M film bodies.

My camera is a monster at 25mm. I have an M7, A 25mm Biogon and a 25mm voigtlander VF.

I think it's a wonderful thing that these companies share a common mount. It allows for so many more options.
