Zeiss-lens performance: I'm looking for photographers/photobooks. Tips?

Here's (see Album Carl Zeiss Planar 50)
some results obtained with the Carl Zeiss 50/2 ZM, but they don't show much of the optical footprint of that lens. I purchased it and also the CZ 35/2 recently, and the first results impressed me (haven't printed any though). I also used the G-lenses for some time - there seems to be some consistency in the footprint, but I haven't looked too deeply into this. All Zeiss glass so far made me perfectly happy - I really like the rendition they create.

I'm one of those folks who swear by Zeiss... sorry this will be a bit [well, actually, TOTALLY] out of topic.. I tend to wave my 180/2.8 Sonnar around and I'm very much in love with the results.

I'll be posting two shots done with my single-coated Sonnar in Pentacon Six mount... I don't think you'll be disappointed by the newest designs.. In fact I'm already drooling about getting myself a ZI with the 25mm Biogon... just a matter of money and time 😉

The shots below are done with delta 3200 pro // lens should be about 20-40 years old probably 😉 You never lose with Zeiss 😛

D_mn straight. the super-sharp 45mm F2 is a magic lens that costs 1/4 of it's Leica M equivalent. Re: Boris Chan, that would be one of Mr. Milner's names, who doesn't own a Leica. 😉

I could be wholly wrong, but I assume the new ZI lenses are somewhat similar in design to the contax G lenses....at least in the context that they are rangefinder rather than slr lenses. Check out ContaxG.com or do a google search for the G's.

I don't think they would be designed like their SLR lenses when they also "had" their rangefinder G system. 😀
