Tony Rose / Pop Flash. Don't know about shipping to Canada though. Zeiss prices probably going to be about the same regardless of dealer, but Tony gives superior service in my experience.

The 50mm C Sonnar is $969 CDN at BCW and the same price, but in USD, at PopFlash.

I'm a big fan of Rob, but I'm going to be in the US for the next while so I was thinking about picking up a lens there.

dfoo: It's hard to resist a slightly better deal if you are going to be in the US, but for a few bucks more, you're helping out the local economy. Ontario needs the boost. 😀

In my shopping i have not seen much difference in Zeiss lens prices, certainly not enough to justify buying from someone you don't normally do business with. I would vote to buy local, or from a retailer you currently do business with in order to support them.

ME!! I DO!! PICK ME!!

I don't know about prices, but I expect them to be very similar considering we are talking about new equipment being sold in moderate quantities, so I would not expect any significant variations in price, but i may be wrong. I've always been impressed with B&H's service and their rock solid return policy.
