Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 for R-D1

Hello,

Just wonder if ZM 25/2.8 can be used in R-D1 without external finder? Will it function with focus coupling?

Lastly, is it worth the money comparing with CV 28/2.9?

Seems like I need to save up for the ZM 25/2.8.

I am new to RF, functionally, would the Zeiss have any problems on R-D1?

its a great lens on the RD1. I had to sell mine a while back in a crunch. I plan to buy another. truly a great piece of glass and it works perfectly on the RD1.

Its very, very good on the R-D1. If you don't wear glasses you can use the boundaries of the viewfinder as a good approximation of its coverage. I use it a lot. Would love it to be a little faster but then it would be much bigger. Some examples are here:
