Personally I find the C sonnar a special lens that will always be in my lens stable...I have the leica 50 2.5 and the CV 50 1.1 am saving money for the 50 1.4 asph. ...
The reason for my love of the sonnar is the look at f3.4 its neither sharp nor soft a kind of balance which i love when photographing people.. for the look doesnt overwhelm the subjects that is the by softness or sharpness. so any magic come from the people and their feelings.
When stopped down its also a fine lens but I realise that with some landscapes the focus shift affects the pic but to be honest only noticeable when Print at A2 or larger.
The Lux is sharp sharp sharp at 1.4, its quite a kind of surprising and itself can create quite a intense visual world of dark pubs and underground. Which I would love to explore =)
Though with the M9 it is a miss or hit wide open and iso limits. Probably I would pair with the Nex7 (AA filter removed)
