Zeiss "ZM" Sonnar 50mm f1.5 in Nikon S Mount (2008 limited production)

Hi all,

I acquired this lens awhile back from the classifieds and have some questions I'd like to ask of someone on this forum who owns or has owned this lens. Particularly so if they've used their copy with an Amedeo M-mount adapter.

If so, please let me know your experience regarding fitment. And if you've shot it on Nikon S/Contax RF... if you've noticed any fitment issues there as well.

***I'm aware of the debate around this lens but am more interested in the "play" between the mount and lens and not necessarily focus issues.

Although I do not own the Sonnar, I do own the Amedeo M-mount adapter, which I use with a 50mm Nikkor. I can vouch that the adapter works perfectly, with perfect infinity focus and no play whatsoever. It is in all respects a beautifully made piece of equipment!

Thanks for sharing, and yes, that's been my experience too! I'm more trying to discern if there's any variation with this specific lens.
