I was playing around with an old Zenit-122 and I have realized that one of the ribbons of the second curtain had came off. It is cheaper to throw it away and buy another one than sending it for repair. Is there any available guide for repairing it myself, or should I use it as a nice paper weight?

Please log in scribd and search "All-you-need-ro-know-Russian-Cameras". On the document you can find a article about Zenit-c. Most mechanism does not changed. Only rubber adhesive will be needed for loose ribbon.

Thank you Simaken. I have managed to repair it. Now, I have to adjust the tension of the curtains. I did a bit by listening and looking to the shutter of other cameras, but this is rather far from accurate.
