Thanks, Timmyjoe for clearing that up.

Thanks, Brian. I'll get it...after selling some analog gear.I have the Fotasy F-Mount to Z-mount adapter on the Z5 now, with the 85/2 Ais.
It would not surprise me at all if Voigtlander sees an uptick in Z mount sales after the Zf is released. They need to do more marketing to let Zf users know what they can get!The Voigtlander Z lenses are certainly a strong argument for this particular Nikon...
I bought Nikon’s adapter, but it doesn’t bring much to the table for manual focus lenses. I have a few different third-party adapters for other lens types, they all seem to work fine.Hello Brian, I have some Nikkor Ais lenses. Which adapter would you recommend for the use of these lenses on the Zf body? Many thanks for your feedback. Cheers, OtL
The Z bodies are the best non-leica mirrorless cameras to use manual focus lenses with bar none.
As an occasional Fuji user, I'll bite: what have the Z-series Nikons got that the X-series Fujis (namely the X-Pros) haven't, outside of the full frame sensor?
(That might sound more combative than I intend. I'm genuinely curious!)
...if they also made an adapter for S-mount lenses, things could be really interesting.
Have one, though mine is black. Like it. Wish the body was a tad smaller, and the diopter adjustment didn't get knocked around every time it comes in and out of the camera bag, and wish the sensor was a bit higher resolution. Otherwise, it's perfect. And I love using my old non-AI and AI lenses with it.May I present the Nikon Df
