Zhao R-D1 case prototype

fyi...

The Zhou case is on Ebay with a buy it now of $72+$18shipping. They have the normal black as well as the red stitching. I don't have any experience with them but it looks nice in the pictures. I own a Luigi premium case which I think has excellent craftsmanship but there is a price to be paid.

On another note, there is some good stuff and some bad stuff coming out of any country. I visited factories in China that produce machined parts as good, if not better, than the best shops in the US. But the prices are not much cheaper than the US after you factor in shipping cost. But there are also many shops that produce the cheapest parts with the most inferior materials and the cheapest labor, which is what you hear about on the media. If you shop at Walmart, you are going to get the latter. Another example... a 15" Macbook Pro with excellent design/machining is made in China with a consumer cost of $2k, a cheap plastic Dell 15" laptop can be bought for $400. Which last longer....which has more issues, which is better built.... You be the judge. With any place, you get what you paid for. Don't look at just the country of origin, look at the manufacturing company.

I only re-newed case for Epson R-D1 and completed new cases for SM and M Leica w/Leicavit in the past 12 months. I put some new designs on the paper and made many prototypes for different camera models already. The progress is very slow. I don't even have time to reproduce some of my existing cases. If I intended to make copies, it would be much easier for me. I had all the resource for making them. Nowadays, you can find many different half cases for M cameras on the market. They are from different countries, regions. I am no longer the only competitor to Luigi.

@Kevin, the case for CLE is almost done. I need do a final round test.
