Has anyone come up with a way to magnify the image in the viewfinder yet? I am having a hard time with the standard eyepiece and my eye prescription. I have ordered the neutral diopter but it is still on back order.
I tried my Leica 1.25 Magnifier but it does not fit. Has anyone found anything that works?

I believe the eyepiece is the same as the Nikon FM2, so a Nikon Magnifier may work if there is a screw in type. I'm using a Nikon Diopter on my ZI. Only reason I'm not real sure about which Nikon that it was from as I have dipoters from quite a few Nikon Models, but don't have the cameras anymore, so can't check and it's not marked. Same one worked on the Epson RD-1. Hope this gives you some help.

Go to the megaperls japan site - they have a 1.35x magnifier which is very clear and has considerable diopter adjustment leeway. The drawbacks are:
-it makes your wider frames disappear ( I can just see the 35mm frames without glasses and just see the 50mm frames with thin glasses on)
- the correction is not progressive, so you have to decide which range you want dead sharp
- the outer brim is not rubberized, so beware of using soft glasses with it
For normal diopters, use the Nikon ones - they are cheap and easy to find.

I guess Nikon F3HP correction lens will fit. I'm using one on mine ZI

Ohh Wow....I'm sure the Nikon F3HP would be a good solution for the diopter, but what about increasing the magnification?
Mfogielwent to the Megapearls web site, but the device you mention is for Nikon's--D70, D2x and the likes?
Does that one work or is there another one for the ZI?

Get this one and "order" it for your Nikon to avoid the patent nonsense.

Got it today. It really helps on ZI and Epson.
