ZI with 25mm Zeiss lens

Helo:

Has anyone used the 25mm ZM lens with the Ikon? Is it necessary to shell out the
bucks for the accessory viewfinder or will it work with the 28mm lines?

I use the entire viewfinder. I don't know that I would do it for critical applications, but it seems to be reasonably accurate.

It in't strictly necessary, because if you do not wear glasses, the 25mm coverage, esp at infinity, is roughly the entire viewfinder. I have the 25/28vf, and it is nice, but the best solution probably, is to get as a viewfinder for the 21 and 25 Biogons the Bessa R4A... Not ideal, as the 25mm blocks quite a bit of the view, but in the end faster to operate, and actually less expensive than the 2 Zeiss viewfinders together...
