Hi Phil,

Note that, although this picture is take against the sun, the vignetting is quite low.
A friend of mine who bought that lens too, have no vignetting on 24x36 film !

Actually, i was testing the flare on the Distagon. Quiet impressive isn't it?

I am considering buying this lens to use with my Epson R-D1s. Vignetting is my main concern. I suppose we won't really know how much it vignettes on the Epson until we see photos from the Epson, but M8 photos will give us the best approximation.
Since the lens is quite long (73mm), I don't think the vignetting will be a large issue even on the R-D1s. The Distagon design has less vignetting on a digital sensor, I think.
