ZM 21mm came today

Hi all:
I received the ZM 21mm and shade today. My first ZM lens. Bought it to use with my M8 along with Leica 24mm ASPH, CV 15mm and 35mm f2.5. Build quality is FIRST RATE!! 1/3 stops will be perfect for tweaking histogram for precise exposures. This lens is so impressive, I am now considering the ZM 50mm f2. Any experience out there with this lens?

i have 3 zm lenses and they are all first rate.
the 25 is awesome, the 35 is fabulous and the 50 is great.

90% of my shooting is done with the ZM Planar f2 (on an M6). It is the best lens I have used. It handles extremely well, build quality is superb and I really like the 1/3 stops. The image quality is wonderful - far better than I have been able to take advantage of as yet. below is a link to one of my recent shots - the web is obviously not the best place to see a detailed image but this one prints very nicely to 11x17.

Yes, the Planar is a first rate lens and performs fantastic across the entire range. Let 's see some shots off the 21 when you get a chance..
