Excellent description of Zeiss naming practice which is now based more on marketing than tradition. "Some speed" might as well be "any speed" though.
Well there have been tons of un-named "Sonnars" (or rather "Ernostars") in the longer focal lengths made by every SLR manufacturer -- they just don't have cemented triplets.

Needless to say, it is a design that we will never find in an SLR lens & one that makes the pursit of rangefinder photography worth the trouble.
