and it seems that the framelines' top line has the greatest accuracy.

sorry for my ignorance, but exactly which kind of exposure meter is the one you use? I know the handheld ones but I have no experience at all on those that can be attached to the camera top shoe. Besides, how can you read the incident light on your subject with this kind of exposure meter? Can it be used handheld and detached from the camera?

Hi Dino,

the exposure meter is the Sekonic TwinMate. It is delivered with an accessory mounting shoe that can be attached to the bottom of the exposure meter. It can be attached to the ZI or it can be used as a handheld meter. I first wanted to have the Gossen Digisix which is very similar, but the accessory mounting shoe costs extra and I prefer the analog scale of the Twinmate and not so much the digital display of the Gossen. That's why I went for the Twinmate.
