Now what!?
So, I got this wonderful Zorki 1, I think it's the B version.
Cranky, hard to wind and al that, and after a few hours, I'd got it working like a charm again. Goes smooth, like a cat.
The problem is tough, when mounting the Jupiter 8, at minimum distance of course, the RF does not match up at above infinity. How do I fix it?
Thanks in advance!

There should be a cover screw near the viewfinder. Take off the cover screw to reveal a small screw for setting horizontal alignment. Focus on something at ~100m, use a small jeweler's screwdriver to set the alignment.

And that will work so that the alignment for both lenses matches? There should be a cover screw near the viewfinder. Take off the cover screw to reveal a small screw for setting horizontal alignment. Focus on something at ~100m, use a small jeweler's screwdriver to set the alignment.

Gholen, check where your I-22's infinity mark is when the rangefinder coincides at infinity. Often, the correct mark is slightly before the lens tab reaches its locking position. That's the lens's focusing distance should be when adjusting the lens for infinity. I've found this to be the case in MANY Zorki-1 with I-22 lenses.
You should do the infinity adjustment using the rf adjustment screw located behind the bighead screw next to the viewfinder window. Adjust for minimum focus (lens at 1m) by adjusting the rf sensor tip's angle. Note that each time you adjust one (infinity or 1 metre), the other will have to be adjusted again. This may require a lot of adjustments until both 1m and infinity setting read and line up right.

BTW, do you need the shutter curtains now? The coating on the cloth is still curing.

Got it, fix'd it

Yes, I still need'em, they have to be replaced someday, and that day is coming closer. But know I know howto and so on.
