Hi!
I bought some months ago a wonderful Zorki 10 (the SPUTNIK), but I had no time to take pics with her until now.
It has been a wonderful ornament on my desk, because IMHO it's a great '70-design-sample.

But ... SURPRISE!
The first pics tell me that it's a real camera! :D

Despite all auspices the totally-automatic-perhaps-it-works metering sistem works fine!

I love it.

Carburo,
Very nice shots! I bought one a while back and while I like the results and the design is very appealing, I don't use the camera much. It just doesn't fit my hands very well. So It has pride of place on my shelf.

edit --I noticed you have an Arax 60. How do you like yours? I have had mine about a year now and have been very happy with it.

I love my Arax 60, and I use it only for that kind of "ponderated" pics that I take only when I have a lot of time.
I have the Arsat 80mm (nice lens indeed!) and the two outsiders (IMHO): CZJ Flektogon 50mm and CZJ Sonnar 180mm.
By the way, is a pleasure to deal with Gevorg Vartanyan (Arax).

Absolutley agree with you about that! I'm not sure how many questions I pestered him with before I had spent any $ and he was unfailingly polite and helpful. When/if my Kiev 4a needs service I will probably send it to him--and have him repaint and recover it to match my Arax60(last time I checked he still had a picture of it in the SE gallery on his web site).
I am probably jinxing myself by saying this out loud but-- I have been very well treated by all the sellers in the Ukraine that I have done business with. Any mis-steps have been my own. The Zorki 10, for example. I do NOT regret buying it as it is way cool and was pretty cheap and works very well, but I don't use it very much. Lately, I'm using a FED2 and a Zorki 3m.
Best, Rob
