My Zorki 1b arrived today and I must say it is in far better condition than I expected. Curtains appear to be new and the speeds test within range. RF is bright and easy to use and both 1m and infinity are properly adjusted.

I was surprised at how smooth all of the controls are..

The I-22 is clean and without damage and tested on my Panasonic G1 via the screw to MFT adapter the images are sharp with excellent color rendition and fine detail..

Overall I feel like I made a good deal on this camera...

The I-22 (for originality sake) and I-26M (for ease of use) are my favorites. Nice to hear you got a good working cam.

Here's a photo of my new Zorki.. I'll be giving it a try this weekend..

Congrats for your new Zorki. This is what I am after these days. I will not get it via ebay, but from some local seller as I cannot afford getting a non working one.

A very fine piece of machinery. Here a picture of the Z1b I had for quite some time, until I found a very beautiful Z2. The Industar 22 is an oldtime favorite.

This was an early one: nr. 77755

I wanted to test the I-22 lens so I mounted it on my Panasonic G1 and took a few shots. This lens has impressed me with its resolution and color rendition. While not up to modern standards it is still an excellent user lens.

I've got some Fuji Acros 100 from Freestyle on the way that I want to shoot in the Zorki..

Cool.... there are 2 sellers on ebay that do refurbishments and the finished camera is like new but the shipping is SLOW and expensive. That's how I got my Z1. I also got a Zorki 4 that way and its a beauty too.

With the collapsible lens, they make a really dandy pocket (and I do mean *pocket*) camera! Too bad someone won't put some digital guts in one just for fun!!!

With best regards,

Pfreddee(Stephen)

This one has new curtains in it and looks to have been serviced..

Actually a Japanese man do just that. I don't recall the link but it was posted here early last year..

Don't own one, but the Zorki 1b is a beautiful camera. I have the 2C I bought a few years ago from a US ebay seller. Hasn't failed me once.

Nice camera.

I took mine out today for a spin. Got 2 rolls hanging in the darkroom drying.
