I bought a Zorki 1d (together with millions of shredded film particles stuck in the cogs) from eBay. I quite like the small size of the camera.
The magnification of its rangefinder window is about 1.0x. Is this normal for Zorki 1? I had an impression of it being 1.5x, from some old posts I've read before but I might remember it wrong.
I was skeptical about separated RF/VF windows, but now I start to enjoy it. I can focus with both eyes open with its 1.0x mag. The VF view is small, but it's very easy to see the whole frame (I wear glasses).

Hi,
I've the version before you and the RF is about x1 as you say. Perhaps you were thinking of a Leica model?

Hi David, thanks for the reply. You're right, I think I mixed it with Leica II/III.
