Does anybody know where I might download a (free) manual for a Zorki 2C? I have trawled the internet but have failed so far.

I don't but what do you need it for? if would like to know how to operate a 2C then we can help, if it's because you would like to snoop a bit in a original fsu manual then unfortunately I can't help you.

Hi there

There was a question I needed answering about the strange dial under the shutter speed dial but the internet searching has informed me that it is a flash sync setting. Do you know what number to set for electronic flash?

Cheers

Set that dial to "0" (it is for that various delay of different types of flashbulbs).
I have way too many bookmarks--and they're not well organized--but I think I have a link to the 2c manual somewhere...I will go through the bookmarks and check. If I find it, I will post it here in a day or two.

Stephen,
You may well have seen these before but here is a link to one possibly good source of info(it is the manual for the FED and Zorki 1 but see the first few paragraphs):fed1 zorki1 info(link).
And these folks seem to have the 2C manual for sale, but I'm not sure if it's an english version or not? Might be worth an inquiry at least?

Hope these are helpful!
I'm still thinking I saw a manual specifically for the 2C but I may well be remembering the link above...

Over time, I've found several websites that give operating instructions for various models of Zorkis. I believe the 2C, one of which I have, pretty well follows the 2 in operation.

As for an original instruction booklet, you might think twice, since there's a little language barrier. One Zorki 3 I bought on evil-Bay came with an instruction booklet -- in Russian. Unfortunately, I do not speak, read or write said language, which has a totally different alphabet (Cyrillic).

Thanks for the info. If you find a manual that would be great, but not something to make your life's work.

Hi Stephen!

I have a genuine Zorki-2C manual in russian. If still needed I could scan it and send to your e-mail. Just let me know.

Best Regards,
