Just got my Zorki 2C back from Oleg and put my new Industar 55mm 2.8 on it and took it for a spin on the river front. To my dismay, I learned never to wear a billed cap with a stiff brim. Looking through the tiny viewfinder pushed my cap bill on top of the shutter speed dial, keeping it from functio :bang: ning properly. Beware!

Ha! Usually it's my fat fingers that get in the way. Oooooh!! So all those guys I see with their caps on backwards are really 2C shooters!

And there I was thinking that they had just switched their brains off!!!

Kim,
Perhaps it doesn't matter which way they have their caps as long as the cap is firmly seated on the pointy part!

I have learned to push my hat back abit for just that reason. And I tend to cock it off to the left side a bit to shade the viewfinder. Works pretty good but I look like I'm tyring to be "cool" and to fit in with the college crowd if I forget to adjust it when I'm done. Almost works but for my grey hair....
Johne, how long did it take for your Zorki to go and come back?

rbiemer,

I was amazed at the turnaround time. I believe it was June 8 that I shipped the camera and got it back repaired last week. The camera was completely disassembled when I sent it off.
