Zorki 3M shutter jam - Please help

Hi,

I have already several FED and Zorki cameras. I just got myself a new Zorki 3M which doesn't work well.

When I fully rewind the shutter, the shutter dial is locked in one position and couldn't set the speed. The only working shutter speed seems to be very fast. I see only a gap between the first and second curtain.

I've opened the top plate. The shutter mechanism is too complicated for me. I noticed that the shutter dial is blocked between a short black pin on the speed plate and a "lever with a spring" (which seems to be controlling the second curtain).

Sorry for my bad English and even worse description of camera mechanism.

Please give me some hint and help me get out of the jam.

What you could do is open up also one of your other zorkis perferably a 3c, 4 or 4k, and see whether you can find any significant difference.

But unfortunately I don't have any Zorki 3-4 with me at this moment. And I really need to sort this out before I can take a look at another example.
