Zorki 4 film advance winder

Hi, i got a zorki 4, and the film advace winder is quite hard to turn. I removed the top and cleaned the top mechanisms with lighter fluid, without messing the view/rangefinder or the curtains. Unfortunately, i didnt see any difference. It is still as hard to turn. If i lock down the shutter button then it turns very easily as isolated. So i conclude that something else is causing it.


Any ideas?

I'd be inclined to see whether Wolves3012 happens along, into this thread. There are others, too, who might be able to advise; RFF has wide-ranging expertise. 🙂
