Zorki 4: help needed

I have received yesterday a gift from a friend in Moscow: a Zorki 4 (serial nr. 72...) in its original cardboard box along with manual and passport, leather case and two jupiter 8 (black and silver). A great gift indeed!
The camera needed a CLA, so yesterday evening I worked hard to restore it: now it works perfectly! But I have discovered that the screw of the self-timer lever is broken, and its top end is still inside the hole. How can I take out this little part from the hole? Where I can get anotherscrew, to replace the broken one? Or I should forget it, and use the camera without the self-timer?
Any help and tip will be greatly appreciated.

The problem is that some time in the production they changed from right-hand screw to left-hand screw. Thus if you try to unscrew it the wrong way you end with the head of the screw in your hands and the thread still inside...

I don't know of any method to remove such thin thread... I would just use it without the lever.

Or you could try... remove the body shell to be able to access the self timer mechanism, and either remove it completely (then you would have to fill the hole somehow) or you could replace it with another self-timer.

I would use it "as is" and not use the self timer.

I guess that the best way is to use as it is...but than again You are just like the rest of us and You wont be satisfied until it is working 😉. Anyway, I got a Zorki 4K, serial 73... The shooter mechanism is busted, someone tried to repair it and ruined it completely. Otherwise, the body is in mint condition, but I have no use for it, as I bought it for a few coins because of a Jupiter 12 which was on it. (mmm).
As You are in Italy, just across the adriatic 😉 I could mail You the lever, screw, or whatever You need if they are compatible. Even the body, as I said I have no use for it. Got a few excellent bodies.

Dear friends, thanks a lot for your kind words and help: probably the best solution is to use it as is (it works perfectly!). Moretto, thanks very much for your offer: this evening I will check the situation, and if I feel myself confident to disassemble the self timer mechanism, I will let you know the spare parts I may need.
