Hi, I have problems with removing shutter and film winding knob. A have already removed a picture counting dial and... I don't know what to do next. There is a hole on a side of the knob but it is empty (don't know what for)...

Thanks for help ;)

Hey ciemnia, welcome to RFF. The hole in the side of the knob should've contained a set screw. Maybe shine a flashlight into it to make sure it's not way down in there. Anyway, I don't believe there's anything else to hold the knob on (except possibly the everpresent "Zorki.Grunge" that seems to come with most of these old shooters. ;) ) Possibly a drop or two of lubricant of some type applied underneath or even in the hole -- let it set for a little while -- and then see if it might loosen up and slip off.

Thanks for reply :D

I tried to find this screw under the light but it seems to be missing or it's so deep that I can't see it... I will try with the lubricant and see what will happen ;)

As reagan says, there's supposed to be a grub-screw in the hole. Other than that, the knob just unscrews (normal right-handed thread). If the screw is definitely there it's probably just the knob being tight...If you need further information on stripping the camera, there's a sticky thread at the top of this sub-forum.

OK I make it trought ;)

It helpped me few days later, when I bought another Zorki 4 (with Industar 5 lens) with unworking shutter mechanism :( It's took me 2 days to solve this problem and it seems to be working properly :) But I have another problem  How to adjust speeds of shutter? I had to dismember shutter mechanism and loose curtain tension as well... Is there any way to adjust it?

Follow the sticky on adjusting the tensions, it's at the top of this sub-forum. I'd suggest starting at 3 turns on the first curtain and 2 turns on the second curtain, then increase them if you need to. You should always need less tension on the second curtain anyway.

Wolves is right. It's a bit tedious, but very satisfying. If done well, the shutter sound even becomes more pleasant and softer - at least on mine.
