Zorki 4 k Rewind

I have Just snapped the film trying to rewind my Zorki 4 K,
Have turned the collar arond the shutter knob which disengages the shutter but does not allow the spockets to turn Backwards ,
Help Please

Yea pressed down and turned, I have a 2nd one with a torn curtain, that releases ok.
