purchased a zorki 4 not long ago. fiddled with it for a bit then the shutter got stucked out of a sudden at a low shutterspeed.

I'm a lil worried. if let's say ( no i doubt i did ) i accidentally switched the shutterspeed without winding it ( from what i know it will ruin the shutter mechanism ) ... will it be repairable? or does it need servicing?

As of now, my shutter still snaps at all speeds, but there's this squeaky sound as the shutter moves and it feels sticky and rigid, doesn't snap tightly and as "sturdy" as its supposed to.

Any advices please? Thanks

Try cleaning out the lubricant and redoing it. Exactly the problem I had with my I22 - lubricant dried up and made it squeaky.

probably i'll send it for servicing cause i don't really know how to service it yet ( and quite busy at the moment too ).

winding the film advance knob is also a big problem.. i gotta put a lot of force into winding it. I think the metal part of the curtain inside drags along the left part of the square frame when i wind it to the right..

Is it in the nature of a zorki 4 to be difficult to wind? or it should be effortless?

Nope. Should be very smooth. I wind mine with the outer edge of my index finger.

reckon something's wrong with mine then. might need a lot of servicing or i'll just send it back. thanks though.
