Zorki 4k with 13.5 cm

Hey,

I am using a Zorki 4k and I have two lenses - a 50mm and a 135 mm.

The rangefinder focuses sharply for the 50 mm but once I put the 135mm on, I notice a tendency to front focus. I ran through an entire roll before noticing this :bang:

Any suggestions?
 
If the lens is on the spot, it's likely that your Zorki's RF is off. Many people assume that if their Zorki's (or FED's) rf lines up at infinity, it would do right at minimum focus. THat may apply for Leica, but Zorki and FED need to be calibrated for proper range-finding at short distances.

If you're using a 50mm with a 2.8 or 3,5 aperture, you won't notice the error at close focus. But if you use the large aperture lenses or long lenses, this would be very obvious.

The RF is adjusted for short distances through the sloped tip of the focus follower of the rf arm (the part which links the camera RF to the lens cam).
