Just received a Zorki 4K with a 50mm Jupiter-8 Lens, the camera is in great shape, the only problem that I may have is that when the lens is attached to the body the center markings on the lens ( f stops, distance markings) are 90 degs to the right, tryed different Jupiter lens from my other Zorki's and they aline in the same spot 90 degs to the right.
Is this a problem and is there anyway to adjust this so they are straight up so I don't have to turn the camera to my left to read the f-stop and distance.

I don't know but might be that the threaded ring on the camera body that the lens screws into has been replaced incorrectly. Worth a try removing it, rotating and refixing.

Grayhoundman, your right on the button again, don't you every think of leaving this fourm, you have been right everytime I posted a question.
Just turn the lens mount as you said and now the lens it were it should be.
These Russian camera's are becoming a obsession with me, this is the fourth one I'v purchased in the last month and I have a Fed 3 on it's way.
My SLR's and digitals just sit there now but I'm sure they will get some use later on.
Hope you know the Fed as well as you do the Zorki's.
Thanks again for all you help.

Looks great, lets us know how everthing works out, I have been looking for a wrist strap for my 4K, do you have a contact for one ?
I like the look of a black camera, one of my 4's is black with a black lens.

Good luck with your 4K! I've been up to now obsessed with my FED 3 type B, but I must say that I'm starting slowly to prefer the Zorki 4 I own. Maybe I should get myself a 3M and it'll be perfect!

Aww you got a 3M!!! *sighs* ;)

I've been trying to reassemble my Jupiter-9 F/2 - 85mm, it seems i'm almost done! And I've to service my Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar III 2.8 / 80 MC, Pentacon Dresden serviced all except the lens ...
