Hello all,
I’m still awaiting the arrival of my Z6 from across the pond. I've been browsing here a lot lately and it seems the painting bug has bitten me. Here’s my question to all that have successfully painted their own cameras.
Do I (or is it recommended) to do a full tear down i.e.

Or should I just follow these instructions for top plate removal
http://muj.proit.cz/roman/z6disass/
And then follow w3rk5's instructions for taping everything else off
http://www.yevglad.com/repaint/Paint...ions_Final.pdf
I can see the advantages of doing either, but what’s going to give me the best possible result? The painting won’t be an issue; I’m just more concerned with reassembly of a full tear down. I’m very mechanically inclined; Its just that I have never taken a camera apart. Are the Zorki's easy enough to try for the first timer or should I just get a non-working one to test out first?
Thanks all
