true true, another good option ....though not a huge fan of cases, it would work.

How about a nice snapshot of a Fed 2?

Sure...if it's taken with a Zorki C

Anyone want to part with a "C" please let me know.

I have a 2C, which is pretty much the same thing - they have strap-lugs and a self-timer. Have you thought about one? Less moolah usually. Downside is they mostly come with a rigid I-50 rather than a collapsible. Good, reliable, simple, cheap...and they take damn fine pictures too!

I have this model Zorki and have found it reliable under hard conditons. BTW, I thought it was the Zorki 2S. Just a thought.

The "C" is the russian equivalent of "S" - for synchronised. Mine's certainly stamped "C", as are my Zenith/Zenit. The Zorki 3C is, likewise, a 3 with a synchroniser.johne said:BTW, I thought it was the Zorki 2S. Just a thought.

The C is a well-built camera, more of a precision feel than the FED-2, imho.
Minimalist for sure, with no diopter, strap lugs, slow speeds, or a shutter
brake. But with a clean I-22 (or other) it gets the job done quite nicely.
I find the camera rather attractive with a 1st ver. I-26M attached.
