Zorki newbie question

Hi folks,
Just joined the FSU world as a respite from my LF and MF gear. I acquired a Zorki 4K with Jupiter 35/2.8 and I 50/2.8 on fleabay and luck seems to have been with me as the first roll looks good.

The body is marked as an 25th anniversary model. Can anyone tell me what the
anniversary is meant to mark.

My guess would be the 25th anniversary of the end of WWII aka the Great Patriotic War (1970) although the camera was first issed in 1972. The Zorki 4 and 4K were issued in various "anniversary" issues.

The first two digits of the body serial number indicate the year of manufacture. Subtract 25 from this and see if you can work out a significant event in Soviet history corresponding to this year.
The 1957 Youth festival was celebrated by the issue of a specially engraved Zorki-S, so the event you are looking for might be something similar.

I tried this and couldn't come up with any references. The camera serial is 76xxxx so 25 years earlieer would be 1951. Len

Most of the 'marked' zorki 4/4ks that I have seen are to comemorate the 50 years of the soviet revolution. I am not sure what the 25 years would mean. The only thing I can think of is the death of Stalin🙄
