Hi!

Too all comrades, have you ever sent your camera for repairment to Oleg? I've got a Zorki 1D which just looks very nice (pics will follow) but a ribbon is torn and there are holes in the curtains (I've already asked him, he's gonna fix it :)). Is his service good, I mean can my Zorki work for another 50 years with Oleg's fresh curtains? thanks :)

I recommend his service without reservation. He has serviced 2 of my cameras, a Leica IIIc and a Zorkii 6, and both worked like new. Go for it!

Oleg does incredible work, as my Fed 3 and Kiev will attest to. The cost to repair them was very inexpensive (probably equaled the round trip shipping cost).

I have had both a FED 2 and a Zorki 3M attended to by Oleg.

The shutters were repaired & timed, the old grease removed and proper lubrication applied.

In short, the cameras operate an order of magnitude more smoothly and easily after his ministrations.

Waiting for shipping there and back again is aggrevating but can't be helped.

Nevertheless, I found communications with Oleg to be excellent. He let me know when he received my cameras and when they were ready and what the charges would. All in all, my experience was very good.

Oleg did a CLA and put new shutter curtains in my Leica IIIc and Zorki 3M. Most excellent. I have a Fed 2 I will be sending him.

ok, I added the pics, the green paint is my work :D (it was originally black but the paint went off and it was kinda gray). Oleg's on the mission to fix it :)

I purchased a zorki 4 from oleg in a splendid condition and he worked on some of my cameras. He is not expensive and top quality as well as a pleasure to deal with.
