Zuiko Pen F lenses - which body

I have a number of Olympus Pen F lenses that I use on an FV and am considering the new Olympus Pen or (perhaps) one of the Fuji rigs.

Does anyone have comments, suggestions or experiences with (say) the Fuji XE-2 or the Oly Pen EP-5?

I'm tempted to go with the PEN, but have been impressed with what I have seen from the Fuji cameras.

Hello

I would recommend the Fuji system, as you
will be using the lens as designed, IE: its full
image circle.
On a 4/3 body the lens image circle will be cropped.

I have had a Fuji X-E1 since xmas, and am mostly shooting Pen-F lenses. The crop factor is much less, and nicer, so a 24mm is still a "wide angle." The 38mms are about "normal". They are very light and fit the camera well. Before this, I've shot them on micro 4/3s. But there the crop factor makes you double the focal length, so a 38mm acts like a 75mm....too long for me. I am mostly a 35mm film, Nikon digi and alternative M shooter. I've long had my eye on the Ricoh 4/3 system (w/M module- I think it's called GXR- I can never keep the names straight). I have learned only recently about how the mirrorless digis like the Olympus compare to pro Nikon digis. The EVF is something that I know is perhaps far behind on the Ricoh, but of course they can update that. EVF performance in general is far more advanced than I realized and nearing a point of supplanting optical viewfinders is what I've heard. I'm curious about peoples thoughts on this, as well as investing in a Ricoh system.

I know there was some talk here about what might happen with Ricoh, as though the camera is destined to be discontinued (there was also their layoff a few yrs back of 10,000). I thought the idea of sealed lens modules was great, with the PIA of sensor spots on digis. Perhaps most users dealing with these camera don't switch lenses too often? So spots aren't such a big issue anymore? As far as purchase advice please bear in mind that price is certainly an issue, with so many expenses in this biz. My goal with this is to have something really portable with very good performance, that would be another option to my D40x for a totable camera. Does anyone have an idea how to gauge the health of a company like Ricoh, or their photography end of the company? Thanks.

This is a bit OT--plenty of info on GXR joys and woes in those threads. Woe: Ricoh have retired the GXR line. Joy: the GXR/M is still great for its (used, old new stock) price range, but get an EVF. The sealed units should perform spotlessly as long as the camera unit works. I have 2 GXRs, and the LCD has gone blank on one despite overall gentle use...

Back on topic: the PEN lenses are small enough to make them delightful on my XE1. But I am an adapterphile, and also have X-adapters for Contax G, Nikon S (outer bayonet), and Exakta.
